Lunar eclipse - 15 degrees of Pisces - 7th of September
In my last blog I spoke of the significance of Virgo season this year as within it is Virgo season.
Eclipses create a lot of buzz on social media. They aren’t all equal, they aren’t all life-altering, they aren’t something to be feared, but they are change agents. They do bring with them a ripple effect. Like the aftershocks of an earthquake, they are felt especially if you have your finger on the cosmic pulse.
September 7th, we meet our first eclipse, a Pisces Lunar eclipse, occurring at 15 degrees of Pisces, with the Sun sitting in opposition of Virgo at 15 degrees. It’s important to understand eclipses work with either the collective North or South Node. That’s why we know they are affecting the trajectory of not just ourselves but our globe. An eclipse will either be a Lunar eclipse (like September 7th), which means it’s happening on a full moon, or a Solar eclipse which means its happening on a new moon that also impacts the themes and essence that eclipse is going to offer us (and the impact and ripples it will continue to have for the following months).
This Lunar eclipse is conjunct the North Node in Pisces (the collective North Node shows what themes humanity as a whole is being asked to develop or move toward during that period). This is signalling right away that there is an intuitive feeling of release here (aligned with the releasing element of the full moon) Piscean energy understands that letting go is a catalyst for healing. That, there is more out there, just like the Piscean fish in the sea. They understand that there is more to be discovered, there is depth and more than what we can see on the surface, and what we let go can be found again in different shapes, different forms. You know those intuitive moments where you can just feel, just know that it’s time to let this go? — a job, a relationship, an idea, a pursuit. A moment of sweet surrender and a trust that “if this is meant for me it will find its way, but I’m not going to push for it anymore,” - a “let-go-and-let-God moment”
If you have any planets between 10–20 degrees Pisces, then this eclipse is finding you at a more personal level, and it just means you will feel this eclipses present in your everyday life. You may see changes in your own personal life take place moments where you feel it’s time to close that chapter, let unravelling happen, and look for the more spiritual meaning. Pisces is okay with endings because it can grasp the spiritual significance.
During this eclipse, we may feel our connection to higher realms heightened. Pisces has that coat hanger in that cosmic closet, and yet it knows it can’t live there, but it can hold an anchor to it. Pisces is at its highest self when it knows how to travel between realms and not get stuck in just one ; you know how to take lessons and messages from both and find the sweet spot of how to wed them, the art of keeping that spiritual coat hanger intact as you live earthbound.
During this eclipse season pay attention to messages, to cues, from the universe to intuitive pings, to sensitivities. They are there to guide you. The Sun in Virgo wants you to intellectualise things, but this eclipse requires you to intuitively navigate. Instead of Virgo’s, — at times, harsh perfectionism, lead with Piscean healing, empathy, and compassion.
THIS eclipse SEASON *
—Take a look if you have any planets between 10–15 degrees of Pisces.
—The mutable planets, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius, between 10–20 degrees can also expect to see some life changes.
—And for everyone, it’s important to look at what house you have 15 degrees of Pisces in your chart. This is the area where the eclipse is going to be rippling through your life and requiring you to make changes, the arena of life where the eclipse is going to be felt most in your world.
What is interesting is this is the second of three Pisces lunar eclipses for 2026 (there are no solar eclipses), so this once again cements the theme that we need to let go, to give in to sweet surrender. Remember, a lunar eclipse happens on a full moon, and a full moon is about the culmination of energy reaching its peak and needing to release, making it clear to us that these eclipses are asking us to let go intuitively and spiritually in order to embrace healing.
When we hear that we have to let go, a natural inclination might be to go to scarcity - a mindset of “if not this though... then what?” This eclipse season can be viewed through the lens of “I need to let go in order to open up space for something new in this area of my life.” Quantumly, whenever we release something, the space that thing was occupying creates a void, and automatically the universe wants to fill that void with something else. We cannot create new if there isn’t space, so know that every time you surrender and let go, this is an invitation for that space to now be filled, and you can direct the universe with what to fill it with:…. “this or something better.”
Until next time B xx
