Scorpio energy takes on the archetype of The Phoenix Rising from the ashes. Its intuitive, discerning, mysterious, deeply intimate, sexual and sometimes the outcast. Scorpio energy is designed to transform.
When we experience a Scorpio Full Moon these energies come through subconsciously. Scorpio energy is described as deeply intimate because it wants to cut through the top layers and see whats hidden within its partners psyche. It’s intuitive and transformative by nature because its comfortable dealing with the “taboo”. Where we might avoid, its investigates.
This is why Scorpio can be so powerful because it eats up what we might view as “darkness” and uses it as fuel – which can lead to an ultimate Alchemist- the one that teaches the snake to dance (turning darkness into light, water into wine) on the flip side of that we have the shadow side of Scorpio where it dances in the dark without the transformation. We see sex and various other addictions, a pushing of the boundaries. Scorpio is an investigator and can be obsessive at times, always needing to derive more from people, places and things. Pushing the boundaries in compulsive ways, the stimulus that comes from dancing on the line of what you know you shouldn’t. Its the - addiction that your sneaking, the towing the line in an affair your almost having, the little areas of darkness you explore, the things you do that you keep hidden.
This Moon illuminates this within us, parts of us that need to die and we hear the word “Die” or “death”: and it can bring in a multitude of triggers – scarcity, co-dependency, attachment, a fear of finality. But, death is the greatest transformation of energy. “Energy cannot be destroyed or create only transformed”. When we meet the time of our death, our energy is simply transformed and then transformed again and again in each lifetime. Death is ultimately a rebirth. Those who have had near death experiences describe a feeling of a “new lease” on life.
Ask yourself what in me needs to die? And use that death as a catalyst to move you forward. Where can I transmute this energy from one area to another? Where in my subconscious , in my patterns, in myself am I continuing to operate a program/ an emotional pattern that has run its course? Because remember, every obsession, addiction, attachment is rooted in an emotional pattern. Use this Scorpio Full Moon to alchemise these energies and redirect them. Dig into your shadows and draw out the light. Wherever we discover darkness it is really just uncovering an area where we can hold more light, when that darkness triggers us – whether that be in form of an addiction, self sabotaging behaviour, doubt, we are being given the opening of a process to return it to light. The more darkness we can hold the more light we can hold. And this, is Scorpios superpower transmuting the darkness and using it as a catalyst for change and depth.
